Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all bookings given to and accepted by Tori’s Castles.

Throughout these conditions “you” means the hirer and “we” means Tori’s Castles.

  • A 25% non-refundable deposit is payable on booking.
  • You must pay your remaining balance for hire of the equipment as set out in your booking confirmation no later than 2 weeks before your booking. We reserve the right to refuse delivery and set up of the equipment if the payment has not been received.
  • We will deliver and set up the hired equipment to you on the date and address provided by you in your booking confirmation.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury to users or damage to the equipment hired
  • A responsible person over the age of 18 years of age, who is not under the influence of alcohol or drugs, must closely supervise the hired equipment at all times.
  • All footwear, glasses, badges, jewellery or other hard, sharp or dangerous objects must be removed before using the hired equipment.
  • Always ensure the hired equipment is not overcrowded and limit the numbers according to the age and size of users. We advise that children of mixed ages should not use the hired equipment at the same time.
  • Do not allow children or adults to become boisterous, push, collide, fight or behave in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to others.
  • Food, drink and chewing gum are not to be consumed on the hired equipment.
  • Smoking, barbecues, or pets are not allowed on or near the equipment.
  • No party poppers, henna tattoos, face paint, coloured streamers or silly sting to be used on or near the hired equipment.
  • The equipment must be returned in an acceptable condition, for example clean, unsoiled and undamaged. If it is soiled or damaged, you the hirer agree to pay any sums incurred to cover cleaning costs at £30 and any costs of repair, replacement and/or loss of earnings as a result of the equipment being unavailable to be rehired.
  • Tori’s Castles and/or any of their representatives shall not be held liable for any injury, loss or damage to person(s) or property sustained as a result of any failure by any persons to follow these terms and conditions or any other rules, instructions or conditions given to you by Tori’s Castles.
  • Climbing, hanging or sitting on the walls or beams of any inflatable equipment is dangerous and must not be allowed.
  • Do not allow anyone to bounce on the step/front apron of the inflatables as a person could bounce and fall off the step and injure themselves. The step is there to assist users on and off the equipment.
  • Anyone who is feeling unwell or has a history of back and neck problems should not be allowed on the inflatable equipment.
  • In the event of rain please remove children/adults from the inflatable equipment. Do not switch the electrical equipment off. Once the rain has stopped, please ensure that the entrance and exit to the inflatable is dried with a towel before children/adults are allowed back on the hired equipment as they become slippery when wet.
  • In the event of the inflatable deflating, it is your responsibility to get everyone off the equipment as quickly and safely as possible.
  • Make the area behind the inflatable, where the electrical blower is sited, out of bounds for children.
  • No unauthorised person should moved or tamper with the inflatable or electrical equipment.
  • We reserve the right to cancel the booking due to forecasted lightening or bad weather conditions.
  • During hire and in the event of rain or high wind speeds including gusts over 24mph, we reserve the right to come and take down any inflatable during the party/event if we believe it’s unsafe.

 

Covid Guarantee.

  • If you or anyone in your household comes down with covid and your event is cancelled/postponed we will work with you to arrange a new date for hire of our equipment, subject to availability
  • If the governments rules change which causes your event to be postponed or cancelled again we will work with you to arrange a new date for hire of our equipment, subject to availability.
  • If the government calls a national lockdown and your event is cancelled or postponed, we will work with you to arrange a new date for hire of our equipment or a refund can be provided this however will be 75% as we have a 25% non-refundable deposit.
